Image Analysis
This photo is used to capture the atmosphere of the Olympic opening ceremony, It is a wide shot of the inside of the Olympic stadium, The majority of the photo is used to show the fireworks display and convey the celebration at the event with a section at the bottom showing the Crowd and performers watching the fireworks. This Photo appears to have been taken from inside the crowd so he would have had to use a deep depth of field to get everything in focus since he appears to be far away from the centre of the stadium. A fast shutter speed was probably used (1/250th) in order to capture the fireworks as if they are frozen.
Meaning
This image portrays the excitement and energy of the moment in the Olympic opening ceremony with everyone watching the fireworks display either from the crowds or the people in the centre of the stadium. The image is framed using the rule of thirds with the fireworks in the centre of the photograph.
